My Work Keywords (Day)

철공소가 위치한 을지로 골목은 ‘스팀펑크(산업혁명 배경의 SF)’ 를 연상시키는 기운의 특색이 있었다. ‘My Work Keywords (Night)’ 는 즉석의 공간 분석과 함께 몰래 작업 되어졌다.
‘Night’ 버전과는 달리 준비과정부터 현장작업환경, 공기의 냄새까지도 달랐지만 출발점이 같은 개념의 작업이었다. ‘Day’ 버전은 합법적인 스트리트 아트 작업으로서 대낮 햇볕아래 진행되었으며, 하나의 하얀 사각틀에 키워드들이 정리된 일종의 마인드맵이었다.

Images from Steampunk (SF genre set during the Industrial Revolution) came into my mind when I visit Euljiro area with all the machine shops. ‘My Work Keywords (Night)’ was worked analyzing spaces instantly.
The ‘Day’ version was worked regally in the daytime against the ‘Night’ version, and this was a type of mind map. Although the process of preparation, the surroundings when I was working and the smell of atmosphere were different, it was same work in terms of the starting point of the concept.
